Preparing to Celebrate Everywhere
The 2000th Anniversary of Jesus’ Resurrection
What part has God already equipped you to play?
2000th Anniversary
—
2033 is being recognized around the world as the 2000th anniversary of Jesus’ death and resurrection, as well as the birth of the Church at Pentecost.
The whole world marks time by the life of Jesus, whether they acknowledge that fact or not. While scholars from a variety of backgrounds disagree on the exact year of Jesus’ birth within about a four year window, Holy Spirit has inspired consensus around 2033. Without even one planned “let’s fight this out and see who wins” conversation!
Toward 2033
—
Plant 1,000,000 churches
Translate the Bible into every language and tongue
Pray for every person in the world by name
Countless international ministries and streams have set global 2033 goals independently, under the direction of Holy Spirit, such as:
…and other “with God, all things are possible” goals.
J17 Ministries’ founder Dave Drum had the privilege of representing JC2033 at one such meeting in NYC, December, 2025.
Aligning with Jesus’ John 17 Prayer for Unity
—
God has assigned different pieces of the 2033 movement throughout the Body of Christ. The Holy Spirit has created deep desires for relational unity and sacrificial collaboration, where all recognize that our work is for the King and the Kingdom, and bigger than any of us.
JC2033’s unique piece in the emerging 2033 picture is the local celebration piece. This link provides all you need to know for ways to be involved further.
A National Strategy for the USA
—
J17 Ministries is partnering with JC2033 globally in order to develop a national strategy and teams within the USA. Everyone alive in our nation needs to know what April 17, 2033 commemorates, and how to join the celebration.
Jesus’ prayer is inspiring action on multiple fronts as we move toward 2033. The vision was first poured out to Olivier Fleury back in 2007. Some countries have been building momentum for several years already. Tucson has begun its march toward 2033 with its first public call to prayer on Pentecost Sunday, May 24, 2026. North America has its first regional gathering June 11-13, 2026 in Montreal (more info).
Inspiration
—
Three core values
Unity, Witness, and Celebration
Unity
—
The broader and deeper our UNITY…
exceedingly diverse parts of the body
loving one another,
serving one another,
learning from one another,
collaborating with one another
in visible ways that get noticed locally and globally…
Witness
—
The stronger our WITNESS will become…
Because people will be able to see a whole Jesus
With maturing parts of the Body who learn from each other
And every person alive
Will connect most naturally
To different parts of the Body…
Celebration
—
And the greater our CELEBRATION will be…
Every tongue, tribe, nation and language,
Aware of and invited to join the celebration
In their own community
Of Jesus Christ, Son of God
Risen from the dead.
