Our eyes are fixed in 2026!

Have you been looking for a way to connect with other believers in this new year? Is God calling you to take a step (or leap) of faith in growing in deeper relationship with Him? Are you curious what living John 17 unity looks like?

A "simple" answer...

John 17 Weekends provide an opportunity to gather with other Christians from various ethnic and age groups to concentrate on a relationship with Jesus both on a personal level and with others. They also provide an opportunity to get outside the silo of one’s own congregation and share the love of Christ with others in our city with what we have in common – our Lord Jesus Christ.

John 17 Weekends include great food, joyous worship, a series of talks given by both laity and clergy, and time for discussion and personal reflection. Those attending spend 72 hours – from Thursday evening through late Sunday afternoon – together in a cloistered environment. It is a chance to get away from worldly concerns and concentrate on a life in Christ.

...with big implications

The weekends are not an end in themselves. They encourage “perfect unity” within the Body of Christ as prayed for by Jesus the night before his crucifixion “that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me”. (John 17:23)

When you step away from daily distractions to focus on your faith journey, you are able to experience a fresh encounter with Jesus and God's grace. Likewise, these weekends are an opportunity to gain new insights into Christianity through teachings on grace, discipleship, and the Church. In addition, by building deep bonds with fellow participants, we ultimately create a supportive Christian community that lasts beyond the weekend, and find renewed passion for service, becoming a more active disciple in your church, home, and community.

Separate weekends are held for males and females, and are coming up soon! The next men’s weekend is February 19-22, and the women’s is March 5-8. I invite you to participate; CLICK HERE to sign up.

The cost to attend, which includes all meals from Thursday supper through lunch on Sunday is $50, however full and partial scholarships are available to anyone. Finances should not be an obstacle to attendance.
